Eco-Wood Venetians
A polystyrene-based slat system available in 50mm and 60mm slat widths, in select neutral colours. Polystyrene-based slat products are proven to have some of the best performance in New Zealand conditions, including thermal stability. Eco-Wood Venetians are suitable for use in all areas of the home or office, but particularly effective in wet areas such laundries, kitchens and bathrooms where this hardware can resist potential tarnishing from moisture levels in the longer term.
Being heavier hardware, but also a reduced cost alternative to Truewood Venetians, the maximum width and drop sizes are therefore more restricted to ensure full operational efficiencies. See brochure.
Extreme Heat Limitations
Although a high quality product, any plastic slat hardware can have some limitations in extreme conditions. Installing into windows that receive full sun in extreme temperatures conditions above 60 degrees Celsius, may cause permanent damage. However this may be a rare situation in N.Z climate conditions!
